A native of Lacey, WA. Sa comes from a military family and is actively serving in the military. Her background and firsthand experience with military life enrich her professional work, providing a unique perspective and deep commitment to her roles. Known for her collaborative spirit, creativity, and ability to think big, Sa is always eager to find a way to say yes, especially when it comes to serving and helping others.
With an educational background in Organizational Leadership and an ongoing MBA in International Business, Sa has built a diverse and impactful career through various roles. As Chief of the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) Project Office, she managed the DMDC database for Air Reserve Components, ensured data accuracy, and led a system redesign that significantly improved mission reliability. Following this, she served as Commander’s Support Staff/Protocol at Headquarters Washington Air National Guard, where she played a crucial role in supporting both state and federal missions and was activated for Operation Allies Welcome. Her experience also includes advancing the Wellness, Arts, and the Military (WAM) program as a Vet Corps Member through strategic planning and community engagement, as well as contributing to initiatives with the Washington State Arts Commission.
Currently, Sa serves in the Washington Air National Guard as a First Sergeant for the 194th Medical Group. In addition to her professional background, Sa is dedicated to volunteer work, serving as a mediator for the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County. Her mediation skills contribute to resolving conflicts within the community, reflecting her deep commitment to fostering understanding and cooperation.
As the Partnerships Manager for Operation Military Family, she plays a key role in building and sustaining vital partnerships with Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and community organizations. By implementing agreements and coordinating collaborative efforts, she significantly enhances the program’s reach and impact, fostering relationships that support military families and enrich the broader community.
